About This Item
New York: D. Appleton and Company, 1923. Hardcover. American first edition: 64p., a handsome little book in 7.5x5 inch dark-papered boards with Japanese paper-vellum backstrip, onlaid spine- and cover-labels, and enclosed in a ratty dust jacket. Volume is mildly edgeworn with a turned corner-tip showing card, spine label was not fully adhered and one margin is slightly chipped. Expect mild dust and minor penciling (by booksellers) to endsheets, plus a discard stamp from Radcliffe College. Dust jacket has lost huge chips to top edge and to spine titling, and clear plastic tape, laid down verso, has preserved what's left. Good (good-only) copy. Most of these texts had previous magazine publication.
