Columbia: The State Historical Society of Missouri, 1946. Hardcover. First Edition, First Printing of each respective volume from 1946-1950. 7 x 10.25in. 439pp.; 436pp.; 399pp.; 455pp. Publisher's cloth boards. Signed and dated by the great Ozark folklorist on the title page of Vol. 1: "Vance Randolph. Eureka Springs, Ark. Feb. 7, 1953." All 4 volumes are in VERY GOOD condition showing marginal shelf rubbing of the extremities, some handling and resultant light discoloration of the cloth, endpapers lightly toned, brief former owner gift inscription on the half-title of Vol. 1, otherwise the bindings are strong and tight, the text is clean and unmarked, and the boards remain distinct. As pictured.
