Chicago: The Reilly & Lee Co., 1907. Hardcover. Acceptable. . Not first, but still early printing, in blue cloth with affixed paper vignette in color of Ozma pushing open greenn curtains with other characters behind her. Cover shows minor wear and loss on the corners and spine ends, mild rubbing. Loose/torn hinges, endpapers not illustrated. Name of former owner written on the front free endpaper and the next page. Pages are lighlty tanned. Black and white illustrations throughout the book have been neatly colored in with crayon. Overall a structurally sound early printing.
Synopsis
Ozma of Oz, published on July 29, 1907, was the third book of L. Frank Baum's Oz series. It was the first in which Baum was clearly intending a series of Oz books.
