San Francisco, CA: Dewey & Co., 1879. Book. Poor condition. Hardcover. First Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 122 pages of text, followed by [vi] pages of advertisements. Hardcover binding with large chip on center of spine, and is heavily soiled, stained and slightly warped. The books suffered water damage, and the pages are lightly to moderately stained on the edges, and the pages are rippled. The text remains intact and readable. Illustrated with one black & white plate. Previous owner's bookplate affixed neatly to front pastedown endpaper..
