Chief Packmaster, U.S. Army, Daly was the last of the old-time packers, the last of those who grew up with the pack service under General George Crook. 244 pages with numerous photographs and illustrations. Bound in dark brown cloth. Hinges sound. Owner's signature on the front endpaper. Light wear to cloth at the corners and spine ends. A very good copy.
