New York: Henry Holt and Company, 1929. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. Very Good in an about Very Good jacket, clipped, generally toned and soiled, some small chips and tears. Grey buckram with a black ink panel and gilt lettering on the spine. Square, bound with some reading wear, foxed at the endpapers and with a bookseller's ticket at the rear. Advertised as "the first real story of the Mississipi steamboat as told by a steamboat enthusiast who knows and loves boats.
