Signed by the editor, Benjamin Trask. Written in the form of letters to the author's young nephews, the book details Stewart's Civil War experiences as a member of the 61st Virginia Infantry in Mahone's Brigade of the Confederate army. Bound in gray cloth covered boards with an illustrated pastedown on the front cover and red lettering on the spine and cover. The book is in as-new condition.. SIGNED. First Edition Thus. Hard Cover. Fine. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Book.
