Illustrated with diagrams, b/w photographs, map in rear pocket.  xiv+367pp.  Very Good condition.  Gray cloth boards lightly rubbed/soiled; spine slightly darkened.  Gilt titling remains bright on black background.  Dust spots to top edge. Light foxing to top left corner of rear pocket map.  No internal markings or foxing.  Clean, square and securely bound.  An excellent copy.  Musil, the "Czech Lawrence of Arabia", describes his travels through the region beginning in 1908.
