Celebrating the Fiftieth Anniversary of powered Flight 1903-1953, a collection of 191 (3.5" x 2.5") black and white reproductions of aviation artworks by Charle H. Hubbell made for the Thompson Products aviation art calendars. Includes a brief biography of Charles H Hubbel, and a story of the Calendar, a hobby becomes a profession. Also includes article entitled Thompson Products and the Air Age.. as well as a list of Thompson Trophy Race Winners, 1929-1953. In acceptable condition. Cream illustrated stiff paper covers are split along the top of the fold up to the first staple and are starting to pull away from the rest of the text. Covers also have a few small nicks and tears and creasing to edges and corners. Moderate overall scuffing, soiling and aging to covers as well. Pages lightly…
