Second edition." (22) 78 (2)pp. Printers device on title page. Decorative initials and headpieces. Complete with 17 portrait copper engravings of heretics. Minor age wear on binding. Re-cased with front endpaper missing, frontispiece laid on inside cover, back free endpaper present. Occasional pencil markings. Slight staining on some pages. Two inch tear at bottom of gutter on pp. 75/76, pages glued, slightly affecting text; starting here. Half an inch of corner of page 229 missing. Tight copy in overall good to very good condition.
