Second edition, published by Small, Maynard & Company in Boston, 1908. 5.75'' x 8.25'', 91 pages. With the original dust jacket and black-and-white illustrations by Paul K. M. Thomas throughout. The dust jacket is in good minus condition. A stain on the front panel towards the bottom right corner. Paper loss to the spines and edges of the panels. The illustration and text are toned but bright and complete. Smudging to the text of the rear panel. Writing in pencil on the cover illustration. The book itself is in very good condition. Minor shelf wear to the spine and little to no bumping or scuffing to the corners. There is a moisture stain on the top left portion of the front board. The cover design and gilt lettering to the spine and front board are bright, clean, and well-preserved. The text block and illustrations are very well-preserved, slightly toned but bright, clean, and complete. The binding is sound.
