About This Item
New York: Random House, 1973. First Edition. Near fine copy with a faint trace of fading around the top and bottom edges in a near fine dust jacket with a trace of edge wear. A collection of thirteen short stories never before published in book form, including “Aelurophobe” a story about a man whose morbid fear of cats is cured, “Double Standard” - an interesting take on the concept of censorship from the TV set’s point of view, and ”Knock” wherein a man who believes himself to be the last person on Earth hears a knock at the door.
