Includes essays contributed by Annette Blaugrund, Albert Boime, D. Dodge Thompson, H. Barbara Weinberg and Richard Guy Wilson. This book was put out to accompany an exhibition which was held at Chrysler Museum, the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, and the Memphis Brooks Museum of Art. In addition to excellent essays, this book provides important bibliographical data on each artist who exhibited at the Expo. An important reference, with an illustrated catalogue of the American entries included at the rear.
