Top page edges are gilt. 24 color and 23 monochrome plates, each with a labeled tissue guard; all are illustrated by the author. 436 pages. NOT ex-library. Binding tight. Hinges NOT cracked. Covers have light surface and edge wear. Corners rubbed, with minor fraying at tips. Spine ends lightly bumped. Spine and spine lettering somewhat faded. Blank bookplate on front endpaper. Pages clean and unmarked. Dust jacket and slipcase are missing. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
