London: Jennings and Chaplin, 1831. Original decorative cloth boards, (11 x 9 inches). Two volumes in one, with a general engraved undated title page only, and continuous pagination. This work contains the contents pages of both volumes. Dated c.1831, as Volume I was published in 1829, and Volume II in 1831. Work consisting of 204 steel engraved views of Paris, accompanied by descriptive passages by Ventouillac. Boards DETACHED, without spine, internally shows some foxing and tide stains. An excellent candidate for restoration/rebacking. Priced and sold with all faults.. Cloth. See Description. Quarto.
