John W. Lovell Company / Worthington. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. Fair+ ; No jacket. John W. Lovell Company - Worthington. No publication date in book, but circa 1883. NOT ex-library. Hardcover has green cloth-covered boards with gold spine and cover lettering. Spine and front cover have brown stamped floral and geometric decorations. Endpapers have light brown and white floral pattern. Cover title: Lord Lytton's Works. Tail of spine has publisher as Worthington; title page lists it as Lovell, 14 and 16 Vesey Street. Hinges NOT cracked. Binding cracked behind title page; webbing visible, but pages not loose. There is another light crack between two pages a few pages from the end of the book. Binding otherwise intact. Corners and spine ends bumped and rubbed, with some fraying at tips and spine ends. Boards exposed at tips. Covers have moderate edge wear and surface rubbing, heavy at some edges. Covers have a few small stains. Spine is darkened. Pages tanned but still supple. A few pages have a small spot. Pages otherwise clean and unmarked. A few pages are dog eared. 618 + 221 pages. No dust jacket. Carefully packed, shipped in a box.
