[Belgrade-Zagreb]: Kultura, 1946. Oblong quarto (21.5 × 28.5 cm). Original pictorial card portfolio with three folding flaps; contains twenty leaves of plates reproducing drawings by the artist. Light wear and one partial tear to flaps; else very good. Twenty striking photozincographic reproductions of drawings reflecting the Yugoslav Partisan experience during World War II, by the Polish-born Serbian painter and graphic designer Andrejević-Kun. Educated in Berlin, Belgrad, Italy and Paris, Andrejević-Kun began his career as an artist in the early 1930s in Belgrade. During the Spanish Civil War, he fought as part of the International Brigades, and his experience was reflected in two cycles of drawings. The present portfolio was the result of his engagement with the Yugoslav Partisans during World War II, and his work went on to receive the Yugoslav Federation Prize for Graphics in the year of publication. The drawings depict the troops at rest, on the move, and in combat; of note is the attention given to the role of women, not only in caring for the wounded, but in their own active participation on the front lines.

One of 500 copies published. As of December 2020, KVK and OCLC only locate a copy in Slovenia.
