Arthur Adamson was born in 1926 in Winnipeg. He now teaches English at the University of Manitoba. He has written art criticism as well as poetry and literary criticism. His previous book of poetry, The Inside Animal, was published at Turnstone Press. He has illustrated his own work and that of others, and has exhibited paintings and prints at various galleries in Winnipeg.
