Matte color pictorial dust jacket, art by Elise Asher. Plain white endpapers. [1-4], 5-175, [176] blank. "Instead of a Foreword"; poems, selected from earlier collections, and new. Condition notes: a lovely, very good plus collectible copy, warmly inscribed by "Stanley" to the former owners on the title page. Moderate wear/rubbing to unclipped dust jacket; tail spine end rolled, spine slightly off center, occasional light soiling to boards; interior unmarked but for author inscription. Dust jacket artist Asher, herself a poet, was also Kunitz's wife. We personally inspect every book we offer.

Furrowed Brow Books was established in 2020. The bookstore's owner, Paul Purman, grew up in an old farmhouse full of books. Paul had been providing online booksales since 2008 through several popular online sales venues. In 2021 Paul was accepted as a member of the Independent Online Booksellers' Association (IOBA), and graduated from the annual Colorado Antiquarian Book Seminar (CABS-Minnesota).
Furrowed Brow Books' goal is to offer an eclectic selection, while providing specialty offerings in Eastern Orthodoxy and Byzantine civilization, theology, Christian mysticism, science fiction/fantasy (Inklings emphasis), and military history.
