Edinburgh: John Grant, 1910. Hardcover. Very Good. Hardbacks. A four volume complete set in very good condition in quarter brown cloth. Lettered in gilt on leather spine labels. Top edge gilt. Smallish stain at foot of upper board of Volume I. Bookplate. Tissue-guarded frontispiece to each volume. This is "a reprint of the edition of 1872-5, which contained upwards of five hundred letters etc. till then unpublished, to which are now added others in a Supplement after the Introduction." These letters have been described as having been written by "various persons of rank and consequence" during the reigns of Henry VI, Edward IV and Richard III.
