Limited to 250 copies signed by authors Chatwin & Therouxs on the limitation leaf, of which this is number 184. With beautiful engravings by acclaimed artist, Kyffin Williams. A collaborative text, written in the form of an alternating dialogue, by two writers who both penned influential travelogues about Patagonia in the late 1970s: Chatwin's 'In Patagonia' (1977) and Theroux's 'The Old Patagonia Express' (1979). Fine in original red and grey cloth, titles to spine gilt, horseman design to boards in red, blue-grey endpapers. With the original (and rare) glassine jacket, near fine. Octavo. 6 x 8.625 in. 62 pp. An excellent copy with the scarce glassine jacket crisp and intact.
