Some light foxing to endpapers. Previous owners name written a top of front pastedown. Dustjacket condition: Fair, the jacket is complete but somewhat sunned (particularly the spine) and worn. Not price-clipped. 511pp. Ten colour plates and nearly six hundred b/w illustrations. Dr.Andrew Causey's critical biography analyses the development of the work of Paul Nash (1889-1946) from its beginnings before the First World War to the artists' death at the age of fifty-seven in 1946.
