Sheffield, England: Pawson and Brailford, Printers No date, c. 1864. "Including the early History of the Town, an Account of the Public Bodies, and The Public, Religious, and Other Edifices, a Description of the Manufacturers, Sketches of the Surrounding Scenery, &c., &c." Illustrated with one hundred engravings. Original purple cloth on boards, gilt tilte with gilt decorative surrounds and blindstamped dceorative trims. Faint dusting of age soiling and rubbings. Spine: moderately browned; head & foot with thin wear. Board fore corners with bumping and soft rubbing. Edges: mildly browned and soiled. Eps: yellow with b/w illustrations. Ep verso white page with penciled notes inscriptions '93. Bottom of front hinge split. Small smudge to one page. Very light and just a few foxings to a few only pages, margins moslty . End of advertising pages: one page missing bottom half, next page with 2.5 x1 cm open piece missing at guttering; missing a couple of advert pages. Binding is VG.. Hb. VG/None.
