Original Green Cloth, Gilt, With Illustration Stamped In White And Gilt, Color Frontispiece, Many B/W Plates And Figures. Stated Second Impression (Of The 1916 / 1917 Constable Second Edition). Gift Inscription "For Lu With Love From Doodie And Balo [?] 10 August, 1922, With De La Mare's Signature And Further Inscription "With All Good Wishes" Nov. 24, 1924" Below. Some Rubbing And Wear To Cloth, Mostly At Corners, Pin Point Frays At Two Lower Tips. Endpapers A Little Darkened, Hinges Tight. Tissue Guard For Frontispiece Browned As Usual, With A Small Chip At Upper Right. Spine Gilt All Present But No Longer Strong.Very Faint Damp Spot At Lower Corner Of Front Cover, Cloth Still Green But Slightly Lightened.
