Yale University: R. Hunter Middleton, 1976. "This impression from the original engraved boxwood block, now in the collection of the Newberry Library in Chicago, has been taken by R. Hunter Middleton as a keepsake for guests at the Carl Purington Rollins Lectures on the Typographic Tradition, Yale University, April 1976. Printed on a sheet measuring about 8 x 10 inches, in a gray paper portfolio with a printed label on the front. Fine condition. Middleton was a type designer and art director; he also was a collector of Bewick, and gave a number of original Bewick engraved blocks to the Newberry Library. Number of copies is unknown.
