First Edition 1st printing 1962. No 44 in Collin's New Naturalist Series. Please see our images of the actual book offered for sale for further details and condition. VG/VG (Book- marks to front board, ink gift insc. to free front end paper. A few light foxing spots to fore edge and mild dust spotting to top edge of book block. Dust Jacket- light shelf rubbing with 2 mm approx loss to head of spine, no notable shelf soiling and non price clipped - cover 30s. Now in a removable proprietary protective sleeve. No other notable defects to book or jacket).
