Marbled endpapers, frontispiece is a map of the Tyrol. Vignette on title page. Double ruled border on covers. Text is tight, clean & intact. Spine head is lightly rubbed. Armorial book-plate & signature of E. Reginald Taylor F. S. A. , British Archaeologist ; and also book-plate of California mountaineer Vernon Howard.
