London: Simpkin, Marshall, Hamilton, Kent & Co. Ltd.. Good. 1901. First Edition Thus. Softcover. Inscribed "With kind regards" and signed by author to front cover with date June 4 1903. Heavily soiled pictorial wraps are chipped, creased and torn. Some splits to wraps along spine. Binding itself quite sound, text clean. Interior slightly toned, with scattered minor soil and foxing. Not illustrated. No stickers or stamps. Not ex-library. The author's letters from a six-week excursion in British India collected into book form, previously printed in the East Anglian Daily Times. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 87 pages; Signed by Author .
