New York: Doubleday, 1929. Fine in very good jacket.. First MacKinstry edition, a gorgeous Jazz-Age vision of Ibsen's classic. Original quarter blue cloth, green paper boards. Paper printed labels. In original dust jacket. Illustrated by MacKinstry with striking full page color illustrations plus full page and in-text black and whites to accompany the text of the play. Jacket with some soil and edgewear, a few tape repairs to verso. Book lovely.
