Contemporary full polished calf, spine gilt ruled in six compartments with contrasting gilt lettered label, gilt tooled board edges (corners bumped and boards lightly marked - otherwise VG). Pp. [vi] + 337 + [3] index and advt + [2] blank, illus with 48 engraved plates with 96 examples of arms (some toning on endpapers; previous owner's engraved armorial bookplate on front paste-down; no inscriptions).
