F. C. and J. Rivington et al, 1817. Hardcover. Acceptable. 1817. Eleventh Edition. 1425 pages. No dust jacket. Vol II Scotland & Ireland. Half bound brown leather with marbled paper covered boards and gilt lettering to spine. Notable foxing and tanning to endpapers and page edges. Previous owner's name to front paste down. Front hinge severely cracked, attached by two binding strings only. Boards have moderate shelf wear with bumping and rubbing to corners. Spine heavily worn and deteriorating. Top section above title missing from spine, with smaller loss to tail end. Splitting to joint ends. Gilt lettering dulled. Some loss to leather at corners. Notable tanning to spine and board edges, with scuffing and marking across the boards.
