Generously illustrated throughout with black and white reproductions of line drawings by Frank Blackwell Mayer, many full page. A valuable historical and anthropological reference work for the dress and manners of Native Americans at the time that they were being forced off the land. A tight, clean, fresh, unmarked volume with faded spine titles, and a couple of ink spots on fore edge (not affecting interior). Near fine..
