Short tear (1/4") to cloth at top spine edge. No bumping or fading. Binding is tight and square, hinges are sound - no cracking. Pages and edges are clean with blank endpapers - no names, writing or marks. Frontispiece color illustration with clean tissue guard. 217 pages. Dust jacket has small edge chips and short closed edge tears, publisher's price on front inside flap, list of publisher's new fiction on rear panel with ink-stamp from publisher that reads: "Due to the increased cost of manufacture some of these prices have been advanced".
