Good with no dust jacket; Bookseller's label inside front folder, folder . split and heavily worn at spine and corners, toning to text pages and . edges of prints.. 1943. Hardcover. A collection of 20 loose color prints of Pennsylvania German designs from pottery, furniture, and other decorative arts printed on cardboard with descriptions of each design on the verso. Research was done by the Pennsylvania WPA Art Project, under the auspices of The National Gallery of Art. The prints are housed in a cloth backed printed burnt orange and white folder. A four-page insert with text by Benjamin Knotts precedes the plates. Plates and folder measure 36 x 28 cm. ; The Index of American Design; Folio 13" - 23" tall .
