Illustrated dustjacket minimally edgeworn only. From a combination of her memories, and her mother's letters, Adelaide Lubbock, born 1906, the daughter of Sir Arthur Stanley, Governor of Victoria, Australia 1914-1919, has produced the recollections of an interesting, somewhat privileged, and diverse life. Contents, in 'parts', include: Prelims., 1905-1913, 1914-18, 1919-26, Biblio., Family Tree, Index. Mary Kathleen Adelaide Lubbock (nee Stanley) died in 1981. Book weight approx. 650g. .
