Octavo-9.5" x 6.5". Original black cloth binding, with gilt titles. Publisher's gilt-titled cloth, pictorial endpages. Trace shelfwear with no fraying on corners, edges, or spine. No scratches , dents, or marks from shelf rubbing that I can see. Inside pages pristine with no writing or marks. Tight binding. Spine excellent. 46 pages .This book is an account of the Lugo Murder trial of 1851, which was a flashpoint for Southern California's often painful transition from the Mexican to the American era. This is the second volume in the Famous California Trials series. This book is in very good shape.
