New York: Charles L. Webster & Co, 1888. First Edition. Cloth. Very Good/No Jacket. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Both volumes bound in green cloth with gilt decorations to front boards & to spines. Decorated endpages. Illustrated throughout in black & white & with black & white map details. Large folding map to volume II. Light wear to outer corners & head & heel of spines. Age darkening to pages, upper edges soiled, dampstained; light foxing to other edges. Some signatures starting to both volumes, however, bindings are still sound.
