Bound in old calf, well-worn & cracked but sound; scattered foxing and soiling but plates generally clean. FIRST: La Perspective, Contenant la Theorie, Practique, et Instruction Fondementale Illustree de plusieurs belles ordonnances d'Architecture, comme de Temples, Palais, Galeries, Jardins, Marchez a l'antique et moderne, clairement expliquees pour tous Architectes, Ingenieurs et Amateurs par Jean Vredeman Frison et augmentee par Samuel Margolois. (1), 42pp followed by 73 double-page plates, all finely engraved architectural views. Amsterdam: Jan Jansson, 1652. 2nd edition in French? SECOND: L'Architecture contenant la Toscane, Dorique, Ionique, Corinthiaque, et composee, faict par Henri Hondius. Avec quelques belles ordonnances d'Architecture mises en perspective par Vredeman.
