Limerick, Maine: Hobbs, Woodman & Co., 1828 Stated First american edition from the fifth London, 290 pp. Attractively bound in full calf with four double gilt bands on the spine, spine title still legible, a solid clean bright tight copy. Chip at top of spine, wear at tips. Original owner, Silas Aldrich name on front endpaper, two obitiuaries and a poem inside front cover, last two endpapers each missing a large chip. An exceptional copy from this time period.
