Sound and square binding in blue, cloth-covered boards. Corner tips and bottom edges have rub wear. Large gift inscription dated 1992 on recto side of the front free endpaper. Otherwise, the inside pages are clean, bright and unmarked. Dustjacket has light edge and spine ends wear, a bit heavier along the top edges. It is shelf rubbed and has some faint scratches/impression marks. Not price clipped. An edition of J.M. Barrie's classic tale of Wendy and her adventures with Peter Pan, with colour illustrations, many of them full page. .
Synopsis
Peter Pan: or, The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up (1904) is the title of Scottish playwright and novelist James M. Barrie's most famous play, and Peter and Wendy is the title of Barrie's 1911 novelization of it. Both tell the story of Peter Pan, a mischievous little boy who can fly, and his adventures on the island of Neverland with Wendy Darling and her brothers, the fairy Tinker Bell, the Lost Boys, the Indian princess Tiger Lily, and the pirate Captain Hook.
