L'Art Belge, 1926. First Edition. Trade Paperback. 23 pages. 5 piano pieces are included. Jongen was a Belgian organist, composer and music educator. He directed the Royal Conservatory of Brussels for many years. His monumental 'Symphonie Cencertante' of 1926 is a tour de force, considered by many to be the greatest work ever written for organ and orchestra. First edition (first printing). Very good in white printed wrappers (paperback), stapled. The contents have partially pulled away from the staples. Mild surface soiling.
