Full leather, gilt lettering on gilt panel on spine with three raised bands, 8 vo, 701 pp. Early edition of Pietro Vettori's (1499-1585) translations of Cicero, this title mainly dealing with the letters of Cicero. Covers show minor edge wear, small hole in leather on spine. No marks in text, binding solid. Some foxing to preliminaries, text clean. Printed by Sebastianus Gryphius (1493-1556) with his printers device on title page. Book condition VG.
