Spine lettering is totally rubbed. the Lettera" appears on the copyright page, indicating a First edition, first printing. Author inscription to actor Raymond Massey and his wife, Adrienne Allen, a British character actress. "For Adrienne & Roy, with devoted love--Bob, March 1935 (Not forgetting that a lof tof the enclosed master-work was written at 21 Wilton Crescent. Even toning to the pages, Unclipped pictorial jacket (photo of Leslie Howard with cane and backpack on the front panel, taken from the Broadway production. The DJ is in excellent condition, with only a mimimum of edgewear. in fresh mylar sleeve. Humphrey Bogart was also in the play and both actors appeared in the film version. Raymond Massey would latre appear in Sherwood's "Abe Lincoln in Illinois".. Signed and Inscribed By the Author. First Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good+. Octavo.

Our Internet business began in 2001. Upon visiting the store, we can show and sell individual online titles upon request. Store hours are 10:00-5:30 (Tues.-Sat.) and 11:00-4:00 (Sun.).
