London: Macmillan, 1869. Cloth. Fair. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. Smaller, sturdy book, blue cloth with a large gilt design and two thin gilt frames on front, another gilt design on back, dark spine with barely visible images and lettering, dark red color glossy inside covers and adjacent end papers, ink owner's signature at top of first front end paper, all edges gilt, 202 lightly browned pages. Pencil lines in margin and a little underlining on final pages. Beneath clear mylar. Badly worn at spine top edge, cover separated from spine but in place--will reglue, dark rose first front end paper detached too. Very slight wear to tips and most edges. Fair.
