Grosset & Dunlap, 1947. Hardcover. Good/Good. Tan tweed covers, orange endpapers, and a pictorial dustjacket spine. A Good copy in a Good dustjacket. Book has shelfwear, a cocked spine, toning to pages, edgewear, soiling to edges of text block, and bumped corners; DJ has shelfwear, severe edgewear (particularly on flaps), toning, mars to the back cover, chipping to top and bottom of spine, severel bumped corners, and creases to flaps and spine. Interior is tight, clean, and unmarked. 8vo. - over 7¾' in - 9¾' in.
Synopsis
The Phantom Freighter is Volume 26 in the original The Hardy Boys book series published by Grosset & Dunlap. The book was written under commission to long-time Hardy Boys author Leslie McFarlane but was actually penned by his wife, Amy.
