Millerton, NY: Aperture, Inc., 1985. Book. Near Fine. Hardcover. Signed. 1st Edition. 8vo - over 7¾ - 9¾" tall. Fully illustrated. Published to accompany the 1978 exhibition of British photographers prior to 1915 at the Alfred Stieglitz Center of The Philadelphia Museum of Art. Laid in is a letter and envelope from Beaumont Newhall, author and photographer (who was Nancy Newhall's husband), to the chief of the department of photographs at the Library of Congress, thanking him for his help on the book. DJ has several closed tears and a wrinkle to front cover but looks presentable in new mylar protector. Interior is clean and unmarked. .
