It was the first complete philosophical exposition for separating the beautiful and the sublime into their own respective rational categories. It attracted the attention of prominent thinkers such as Denis Diderot and Immanuel Kant. Condition: This copy is in good condition for age. The cloth is in good shape but faded to the spine. The contents remain in strong readable condition though with light spotted foxing throughout.
