A fair copy, vol 1 only, in full period leather on wood boards, with gilt titles and five raised bands on spine Front board detached and rear board loosely attached by just strings Front end paper detached but present Missing portrait frontispiece However text block is still quite sound and pages are quite clean and bright A couple of small worm holes, but only on last few pages Ex-lib from the Falmouth Public Library, but ink library name on ffep and a library yellow paper label on the rear pastedown are the only indications A bookplate of Edward Walmsley is on front pastedown and the ink signature of Robert W Fox is on the top of the title page
