Altadena: Twelvetrees Press,, 1990. First edition, first printing, signed by the author with an original ink drawing of his favoured Blakean "Ah, Sunflower", dated 4/19/91. This is one of 5,000 casebound copies, from a total edition of 5,100. Ginsberg's photographs largely comprise portraits of his close friends, including Kerouac, Cassady, Burroughs, Orlovsky, Snyder, Corso, and Leary; and of luminaries such as Robert Frank, Basil Bunting, Lou Reed, and Ken Kesey. The margins are annotated with descriptions in facsimile of Ginsberg's hand. Folio. Original grey cloth, spine and front cover lettered in blind, black endpapers. With dust jacket. With photographic illustrations throughout. Outer bottom corners bumped, a couple of faint marks on rear board and jacket, unclipped: a fine copy in fine jacket. Roth 101.
