Unpaginated (circa 18 pp.) sample from the prominent French printer, displaying samples of his capabilities in phototype or photolithography printing, including work produced for postcards, souvenir viewbooks, trade catalogues, menus, and other items, including images of landscape views, building façades, decorative tiles, sculpture, a church interior, and light fixtures. Folio. Original four-color Art Nouveau wrpps., some minor toning and soiling. Nancy (Bergeret) circa 1900. Albert Bergeret was a famous postcard printer and member of the École de Nancy movement. After apprenticing with another printing company, in 1898 he founded his own company to print postcards - Imprimies A. Bergeret & Cie. By 1903, they were producing 75 million postcards a year. As noted on the oover of this folio, the firm self-advertised as printing a wide variety of objects, including "Albums, Cartes postales, Menus, Programmes, Diplömes, Thèses, Revues, Illustrations, Catalogues Industriels, Portraits, Vues diverses, etc." Scarce; as of October 2020, OCLC does not locate any holdings of this title.
